Mr. Javier Castillo-Seoane

Mr Javier Castillo-Seoane was born in Granada, Spain. He graduated in Physics and Materials Engineering at University of Seville (Spain) in 2018. He started his research within the Condensed Matter Physics Department of the Physics Faculty and in the Institute of Materials Science of Seville (Spain) thank to a research introduction grant of the University of Seville. He is currently developing his Ph.D. thesis in Materials Science and Technology at the Nanotechnology on Surfaces and Plasma Group of the Institute of Materials Science of Seville. He won the 2019 Best Master Thesis Award from the Spanish Materials Society (SOCIEMAT). His research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of functional nanomaterials for advanced applications such as optoelectronics, energy harvesting and sensing.
