Mr Juan Delgado-Alvarez graduated from the University of Seville (Spain) with a degree in Materials Engineering in 2021, followed by a Master in Science and Technology of New Materials in 2022. He is currently at the Nanotechnology on Surfaces and Plasma Group of the Institute of Materials Science of Seville, where he is developing his PhD thesis in Materials Science and Technology. His research interests include energy-harvesting, photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices. In 2024 he won the Best Student Oral Presentation Award at the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) at the Symposion Self-Powered sensor based on Nanogenerators.
