Mrs. Nerea de Tena Álvarez
Mrs. Nerea de Tena Álvarez obtained her degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Seville. After, she developed her Master’s Degree in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies in the specialty of Dissemination at the University of Oviedo, in collaboration with the University of Salamanca and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
His master thesis addressed the consumer of complementary and alternative medicine treatments from a sociological perspective, proposing a series of communicative and structural measures to avoid the increase in the acceptance of pseudosciences in Spain.
De Tena has worked in various media, communication offices and scientific dissemination companies as a journalist. Since 2017 at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the organization of scientific conferences and institutional events, as well as in dissemination activities at the headquarters in Madrid.
In 2022 she began her second stage at the CSIC at the Institute of Material Sciences of Seville, taking charge as project manager of the FET-OPEN Sound of Ice and currently in the 3DScavengers project.
